Taylor Thomas

Taylor Thomas, who graduated with a BA in Economics in 2017, is an account manager at Appdetex in Boise, Idaho.  He also earned minors in Management of Sustainability, Food Studies, and International Studies.  In 2011 Taylor began working for Best Buy, assisting in inventory management. He enrolled at Chico State in 2012 and continued working for Best Buy until a year after graduation. Taylor also completed an internship in which he conducted surveys for a cost-benefit study of the Sacramento River and Wildlife Refuge during his junior year.

Taylor continued working after graduation for Best Buy as a sales associate until summer of 2017 when he accepted a position with Hunter Energy Solutions, a solar contractor in Granite Bay, California. As a service supervisor he was “responsible for managing, analyzing, modeling, planning, and supervising multiple solar system projects to include integration, installation, and maintenance of commercial sized solar arrays and residential systems,” according to his LinkedIn page.

After over a year with Hunter Energy Solutions Taylor found a job as brand analyst for Appdetex, a firm that provides “brand protection” for businesses throughout the world. Taylor said the he “assisted a top company in combating fraud and counterfeiting through e-commerce platforms,” and he “reviewed, analyzed, and reported data specific to the client to combat intellectual property right infringements.” (Last Updated 11/23/20)
