The Ecotherapy Program offers place-based, holistic healing practices to community members and individuals impacted by wildfire in Butte County.

Want to schedule a private group forest therapy experience, holistic wellness workshop, or stewardship event for your student group, classroom, or department? Fill out an interest form. Our staff will contact you for payment and scheduling details. We can also customize a workshop or presentation to meet your group's needs.

Types of Private Events

If you have a location in mind for your forest therapy experience, please let us know in the interest form. If not, we are happy to suggest potential locations to meet your group's needs.

  • 30-minutes: Guided sensory meditation and sharing circle

  • 1 to 1.5-hours: Forest Therapy taster. This is for those with limited time who still want to experience the benefits of slowing down and connecting with nature.

  • 2-3 hours: “Full” Forest Therapy Experience. This is for those seeking a deeply restorative experience. Full experiences end with local, organic snacks and tea.

Current offerings provide psychoeducation on the brain and nervous system, how stress and trauma impact the brain, tools for regulation, mindfulness, and resiliency skill-building, nature connection, ecotherapy, and radical self-care.
