The Ecotherapy Program proudly serves Chico State students, staff, and faculty.

We offer professionally guided Nature and Forest Therapy experiences, wellness workshops, therapeutic group circles, and presentations on stress and trauma, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, nature connection, and radical self-care.

Want to schedule a private group forest therapy experience, holistic wellness workshop, or stewardship event for your student group, classroom, or department? Fill out an interest form. Our staff will contact you for payment and scheduling details. We can also customize a workshop or presentation to meet your group's needs. 

Forest Therapy Offerings

If you have a location in mind for your forest therapy experience, please let us know in the interest form. If not, we are happy to suggest potential locations to meet your group's needs.

  • 30-minutes: Guided sensory meditation and sharing circle

  • 1 to 1.5-hours: Forest Therapy taster. This is for those with limited time who still want to experience the benefits of slowing down and connecting with nature.

  • 2-3 hours: “Full” Forest Therapy Experience. This is for those seeking a deeply restorative experience. Full experiences end with local, organic snacks and tea.
