The Educational Opportunity Program uses several models to assign your advisor while you are student at Chico State.
All transfer and continuing students will meet with a EOP advisor based on their major. Listed below are advisor assignments by major. Advisor drop-in hours, zoom links, and how to make an appointment with an advisor.
All second-year students are invited to participate in the Second-Year Success program and meet with an intern advisor. Second-year students with a 2.5 GPA or lower are required to participate. Intern advisor drop-in and scheduled hours, zoom links and how to make an appointment.
First-year freshmen are assigned to a paraprofessional advisor and meet with their parapro on a regular basis during their first-year as an EOP student. Paraprofessional advisor scheduled hours and how to make an appointment.
