Hi nice people! My name is Lauren Wassam (she/her/hers) and I am an advisor for EOP. I am from Paso Robles, CA and moved to Chico in 2020. I am a first-generation college transfer and I love Chico State. I am proud to have received both my Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and my Master of Arts in English Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy from Chico State. I am passionate about supporting students as they navigate college and define success for themselves. My goal is to offer students a safe space to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and strive to develop ideal student behaviors with the hope that they feel empowered and connected.
