Wildcat Scholarships

The online Wildcat Scholarship Application for CSU, Chico opens January 2 and closes February 15 for the following academic year. Scholarship recipients are selected in the spring for the following academic year. In order to be considered for 2019-2020 scholarship opportunities, the application must be submitted by February 15th deadline and letter of recommendation must be submitted by February 20  midnight Pacific Standard Time. CSU, Chico President's Scholarships

A President's Scholars Program was launched in September 1995 as a commitment to academic excellence by the University. Qualified high school seniors who have applied for admission no later than November 30, 2018 may be considered for these prestigious scholarships. For fall 2019, up to eight $28,000 President's scholarships will be awarded. Find more information on how to apply.

Athletic Scholarships

CSU, Chico is a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), NCAA Division II athletic conference, and offers athletic grants-in-aid to selected athletic recruits. The grants-in-aid are subject to the financial limitations and rules imposed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the CCAA. Financial aid, scholarships, specific outside resources and employment are considered in determining compliance with these limitations. External Scholarships

There are excellent privately funded scholarships available to students and their families. These awards do not need to be repaid and are funded from a variety of sources including community organizations, local and national foundations, state and federal government agencies, and private donors. Information about private scholarships is free and may be found in the reference section of public libraries, in high school and college career centers and in college financial aid offices. Students are also encouraged to utilize websites such as www.fastweb.com and www.scholarships.com for a personalized scholarship search.

Middle Class Scholarship

The Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) is a state-funded program that was implemented in 2014, providing scholarships to eligible undergraduate students with family income and assets of up to $171,000. Click here for additional information.
