Research Integrity and Compliance
Chico State is committed to upholding the highest research ethics and compliance standards. We assist researchers, faculty, staff, and students in creating an ethical environment for research and teaching activities. On our website, researchers can find information about responsible and ethical conduct of research (RECR), the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI), protection of human subjects, animal care and use, institutional biosafety, and contact information for the Research Integrity and Compliance Officer. The Faculty Affairs and Success office offers various services and resources to support research compliance and integrity, extending to funded and non-funded activities, including instructional work. Researchers and educators are encouraged to reach out to us with any questions.
