9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tiffani Anderson (Moderator) | Session 1: OAPL Presentation on Order of Assignment for Lecturer Faculty(opens in new window) - slides This session will review the CBA’s rules about order of work assignment, time base entitlements, and one and three-year contracts. We will also discuss re-employment rights and the meaning of “careful consideration” in the CBA. |
10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Tiffani Anderson (Moderator) | Session 2: OAPL Presentation on Contracts, salary schedules, and range elevation(opens in new window) - slides This session will focus on understanding the terms of your contract, how to advocate for a salary increase when appropriate, and Range Elevation eligibility and preparation. |

1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Tiffani Anderson (In Person Facilitator) | Session 4: Dossier Writing Workshop This is a working session so bring your dossier and internet ready device. You will see a couple of example dossiers and have the opportunity to work in college/unit specific groups to ensure that you are including all that your discipline requires in the dossier. |
The Office of Faculty Development invites all lecturers to the 1st annual Lecturer Academy. This event is a chance to discuss resources available while showing support and creating a sense of belonging for our lecturers at Chico State! Most of all, this is an occasion to celebrate all that the lecturers contribute to our institution!

Additionally, did you know that lecturers can apply for sabbatical? Learn about how a good dossier can improve your chances for approval. |

Or that you are spread too thin to give 100% in all of your undertakings? This session might not offer all of the answers, but we might be able to share our experiences and offer some balancing techniques. |
