• 2025-2026 Book in Common: Free Copy and Discussion Groups - 12/3 Book Pick Up
  • FDEV will provide copies of the 2025-2026 Book in Common for faculty looking to integrate content for their Spring 2026 courses, while supplies last. 
  • Sign up(opens in new window) and stop by the Rose Garden Room (MLIB 459) on Wednesday, 12/3 between 9-11AM to pick up your copy of the book and get started on reading over winter break. 
  • We will schedule Spring 2026 discussion groups based on the availability shared. If you already have a copy of the book and want to join a discussion group, please fill out the form.
• Winter 2026 Program Applications: Due 12/10 at 11:59 p.m.
  • AI Retrofit: Call for Applications (Google Doc) - Tentative Schedule (Google Doc) - Apply Now(opens in new window)
    • This one-week program introduces participants to different Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and applications. The bulk of our time will be spent identifying disruptions to assignments and learning outcomes and then mapping out proposed changes. Our emphasis is on the Online Asynchronous Mode of Instruction.
  • Cozy Up and Write: Call for Applications (Google Doc) - Tentative Schedule (Google Doc) - Apply Now(opens in new window)
    • A unique opportunity to cut yourself off from other responsibilities early in the winter and get started on that writing project you’ve been putting off. We’ll alternate big blocks of writing time and some strategic small group workshops in which we’ll share writing with others and solicit input.
