Lisa is from a small rural town, which inspired her love for the outdoors from a young age. She is completing her senior year, majoring in Kinesiology, in the option of Movement Studies, with an emphasis on fitness and wellness. She values movement for the effect it has on not only physical, but also mental wellbeing. Some of her favorite ways to connect mind and body are through hiking, biking, yoga, and helping in her mom’s garden. She also values the power of good nutrition and loves to experiment in the kitchen. Optimizing wellbeing is a lifelong journey that she is exited to be on. She is a firm believer that in order to help others we must first take care of ourselves, mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
