Custodial Green Practices
The Custodial Department continues to use several environmentally friendly products and practices, such as:
- Primarily utilizing the environmentally friendly Green Seal Certified Hillyard Arsenal 1 Dilution Control Dispensing System that delivers accurately measured concentrated products, reducing packaging, warehousing, and transportation requirements.
- Use of Hillyard Green Seal Certified Green Select Stripper and EP-22 floor finish campus wide. This product is Green Seal Certified, formulated to be non-toxic, phosphate free, biodegradable, non-flammable, and contains no dye or fragrance.
- Recent campus wide installation of Enmotion automatic hands free paper towel dispensers, allowing for an overall reduction of paper.
- Recent campus wide installation of Enmotion hands free foam soap dispensers, reducing packaging and transportation impacts on the environment.
