Our Role In Sustainability
Chico State has made a commitment to become a carbon neutral campus by 2030 and resilient to the impacts of climate change. FMS is leading our campus in these efforts through strategic energy management planning, net zero building design and construction, vehicle fleet electrification, and improving our land management practices. Further, FMS has adopted a procurement policy (PDF) to limit purchasing of fossil fuel consuming equipment and vehicles.
