Bidwell Bowl Amphitheater

The historic Bidwell Bowl Amphitheater is available to reserve for the following days and times:

Chico State Community Only (staff, faculty, students)

  • Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Community at Large, Including Campus Community

  • Monday-Friday: 5pm-9pm
  • Saturday: 8am-10pm
  • Sunday: 8am-9pm

Reservation Process

  1. On campus requestors can use the Outdoor Space Request Form in Astra.
  2. Approval & Payment: Upon approval, an e-Market account will be set up for the event and a link sent to the requestor. Payment of applicable fees must be made in full to confirm the reservation.
    • Fees must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to event.
  3. Event Compliance: Events must comply with all sound, time, and guest limits.
  4. Post-Event Inspection: Requestor is responsible for any damage discovered after the event.
  5. Standard Services Include:
    • Grounds cleanout of debris prior to event.
    • Trashcans emptied before and after event.

Fees:

  • $69 - less than 4 hours
  • $125.50 - more than 4 hours

Parking Considerations:

  • There is no on-site parking available.
  • Temporary parking for vendor loading/unloading is available on Sowilleno Ave.

Cancellation Process:

  • Cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the event to be eligible for a refund.
  • $25 administrative fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the refunded amount.
