The historic Bidwell Bowl Amphitheater is available to reserve for the following days and times:
Chico State Community Only (staff, faculty, students)
- Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
Community at Large, Including Campus Community
- Monday-Friday: 5pm-9pm
- Saturday: 8am-10pm
- Sunday: 8am-9pm
Reservation Process
- On campus requestors can use the Outdoor Space Request Form in Astra.
- Off-campus requestors can email FRES@csuchico.edu.
- Approval & Payment: Upon approval, an e-Market account will be set up for the event and a link sent to the requestor. Payment of applicable fees must be made in full to confirm the reservation.
- Fees must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to event.
- Event Compliance: Events must comply with all sound, time, and guest limits.
- Post-Event Inspection: Requestor is responsible for any damage discovered after the event.
- Standard Services Include:
- Grounds cleanout of debris prior to event.
- Trashcans emptied before and after event.
Fees:
- $69 - less than 4 hours
- $125.50 - more than 4 hours
Parking Considerations:
- There is no on-site parking available.
- Temporary parking for vendor loading/unloading is available on Sowilleno Ave.
Cancellation Process:
- Cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the event to be eligible for a refund.
- $25 administrative fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the refunded amount.
