2026-27 FAFSA Deadlines
The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central Time (CT) on June 30, 2027. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on September 12, 2027.

- I have an academic advisor, a major advisor, and a graduation advisor. How do I know who to talk to?
Such an important question! Here is a side-by-side comparison of different advising programs:
- Academic Advising - Helps with choosing a major, meeting General Education and other graduation requirements, ways to avoid (or recover from) academic notice, and more.
- Major Advising - Helps undergraduate students with degree requirements.
- Graduation Advising - Helps undergraduate students with degree requirements, General Education (GE), transfer credit, the graduation application, and diploma.
- College Success Centers - These centers help you understand major and minor requirements in your academic college and provide resources specific to your educational path. Get major advising, academic assistance, tutoring, test preparation, peer mentoring, professional development and more, specific to your area of study.
- Career Advising - Provides assistance with a variety of tasks including major exploration, job search assistance (part time, internship and career), resume reviews, questions about interviews/salary negotiation, and resources for applying to graduate school.
- I used resources at my previous campus that I need now, but I don't know how to find those resources at Chico State. Where should I look?Check out the Student Resources & Services page! There are lists of really important resources broken down by category (academic, advising, safety, community, etc.), and each page has links and contact information for nearly every resource on campus.
