This exhibit was on display in the Newberry Gallery from January 17, 2015 through January 8, 2017.
This interactive exhibit of north state agriculture highlights regional production and practices, agricultural science and the agricultural community. The exhibit was on display in the Newberry Gallery. This exhibit produced by the Gateway Science Museum in collaboration with Gyroscope, Inc. and Group Delphi. Content development has been enhanced through consultation with local agricultural experts from the California State University, Chico College of Agriculture, Butte County agricultural boards, and numerous local farmers and ranchers. This exhibit is made possible through generous gifts provided by our founding members and donors.
Seeds: Nature's Artful Engineering
This exhibit by Jennifer Jewell and John Whittlesey vividly portrays the incredible diversity, ingenuity and beauty of seed dispersal mechanism of plants native to California.
