Class Field Trips

Gateway Science Museum is proud to offer a variety of exciting, interactive and educationally-rich field trip options for all age levels throughout the year. The museum’s field trips further our mission of “Inspiring the exploration of science and natural history, in our region and beyond,” while also helping to support the educational goals of teachers and students.

From June 12 through December 15, 2019, Gateway presents Before and Beyond the Moon, The 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing 

Open Field Trips: K - 12th Grades

OPEN field trips are available for K - 12 grades on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Gateway is starting a new program that will incorporate one hands-on, standards-based activity for all Open field trips. More details about the four activity options can be found in the Open field trip links below.

Schedule an Open field trip for Summer 2019

Explorer Field Trips: 4th - 6th Grades ONLY

EXPLORER field trips are ONLY available to 4th through 6th grade classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Explorer field trips are NOT available during the summer. 

Explorer field trips will be available in Fall 2019.
