Class Field Trips

Gateway Science Museum is proud to offer a variety of exciting, interactive and educationally-rich field trip options for all age levels throughout the year. The museum’s field trips further our mission of “Inspiring the exploration of science and natural history, in our region and beyond,” while also helping to support the educational goals of teachers and students.

Masks are optional and always welcome on campus.

As part of Chico State we are required to follow the universities guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Explorer Field Trips: 3rd - 6th Grades ONLY

EXPLORER field trips are ONLY available to 3rd through 6th grade classes on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am. One class per per day. $95 per class.

**Explorer Field Trips will return in Fall 2022.**

Open Field Trips: 1st – 12th Grades

OPEN field trip slots for 1st through 12th grades are on Wednesdays at 9:00 am or 10:30 am, and select Friday mornings at 9:00 am. One class per time slot. $95 per class.

**Open Field Trips will return in Fall 2022. Summer Field Trips available by appointment.**
