What motivates you to do this work?

I tell people frequently that Chico State helped me during some of the toughest parts of my life. I discovered who I am here, and this community helped me do that.

My favorite part of development is getting people to open up to me about their fond memories and experiences. It makes it especially great when they are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.

Why do you give to Chico State?

I give to North State Pubic Radio (NSPR) because of the quality content and community service they provide to the greater North State.

What Chico State professor, staff member, or program had the biggest impact on you?

Liahna Gordon of the Department of Sociology had a major impact on my experience at Chico State. She constantly challenged our perspectives. She delivered a tough but fair course. I was happy to have excelled in that class.
