Daria Booth ('09, '17)

Director of Development—Humanities & Fine Arts

Daria Booth is the development director in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. She has worked in University Advancement at Chico State since 2004 in various roles. She is a proud alumna, having earned both her BA in theatre and MA in English.

Her extensive career in fundraising has included fascinating positions at Stanford University, the Maritime Museum in San Francisco, The Council on Aging in Santa Rosa, and Kollage School for the Arts in Belmont. She is inspired by her work and loves connecting people to the students and programs they wish to support at Chico State.

Daria is passionate about the arts and humanities and supports several campus programs, including The Writer’s Voice that brings published authors to the campus to speak, read their writing, and interact with students. You can find her in the orchestra left section at Laxson Auditorium at all North State Symphony concerts, and during the week her favorite place to eat lunch on campus is a shady spot next to the creek.
