Graduation Advising
Graduation Advising supports student success through advising and records evaluation. We work with students on course planning, degree requirements, transfer credit, and the graduation application. Graduation Advisors provide advising for General Education (GE) and graduation requirements which are required per Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations on Education, Chancellor’s Executive Orders, and Chico specific Executive Memoranda (EM). We are available daily to assist students, staff, and faculty with questions and issues via zoom, phone, and email.
How we assist you:
- Provide holistic advising to help you navigate and understand your Degree Progress Report (DPR), GE, graduation requirements, and Chico State academic policies and procedures.
- Post, review and articulate transfer credit to fulfill specific courses at Chico in GE and in the major/minor.
- Review and update your DPR with substitutions from study abroad courses and/or requests from your major/minor advisor(s). Your DPR is the official document that outlines all remaining degree requirements.
- Confer degree completion and order your diploma!
