Starting in Fall 2024, this streamlined path allows you to earn both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees—saving you time and money and giving you a head start in your career.

Our Blended Master’s Programs are designed to seamlessly integrate your undergraduate and graduate studies, allowing you to fast-track your way to a master's degree without the extra hassle.

Save Time and Money

Earn up to 12 semester units (some programs may differ; please check with your advisor) that count toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees, reducing the number of courses and tuition and accelerating your path to your graduate degree.

Streamlined Application and Admissions Process

  • Apply directly through your department—bypassing the Cal State Apply process and its $70 fee.
  • You can apply up to two years before graduation, with admissions managed by your department and final approval from the Office of Graduate Studies, giving you more control and flexibility.

This blended program will be published in the 2026/2027 University Catalog; eligible students may apply and be admitted to a blended program prior to catalog publication.
