Join us for Grad Slam 2026!
Thurday, April 9 | 3:30–6 p.m. | Selvester's 100
The Chico State Grad Slam is your chance to show off your original research or creative work in a fun, fast-paced, 3-minute presentation competition!
Grad students from all disciplines are encouraged to participate. Judges will be looking at how effectively you can explain your work in a clear and engaging way for a broad audience.
Registration Deadline: Monday, March 30, 2026 | 11:59 p.m.
Register and submit your slide to compete for a chance to advance to the CSU-wide LIVE Zoom Grad Slam hosted by Cal State Fullerton on May 1, 2026.
Top Two Winners Receive:
- A spot representing Chico State at the systemwide competition!
- A certificate of achievement
What You Need to Know:
- 3-minute max presentation (spoken word only—no poetry, rap, or music)
- One static PowerPoint slide (no transitions or animations)
- Individual entries only—no group presentations
- No props, costumes, or other media
