Amy Castelluccio

Amy Castelluccio graduated from CSU, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science; option Health Services Administration - certificate in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). She earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration; emphasis in Health Services Administration from the University of San Francisco. Currently, Amy teaches Management Principles in Health Services, Internship Seminar, and Chronic and Communicable Diseases. She is an emergency medical technician (EMT) and her passion is in all aspects of EMS, both clinically and managerial. She engages her students to see healthcare management as more than managing, rather being a leader in an industry that is ever-changing. In 2003-04, Amy worked closely with San Joaquin County’s EMS Consultant, Richard Narad, DPA, to create a serviceable and measurable trauma plan for major trauma patients of San Joaquin County. The trauma plan is still active today; providing higher quality care for the trauma patients of San Joaquin County. She is also an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator, Basic Life Support (BLS) Regional Faculty member and BLS Instructor. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She is active in CrossFit, and loves camping, snow trips, and reading
