Face coverings are required for the duration of your visit to the WellCat Health Center. If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided for you.
- Accessing the WellCat Health Center during COVID-19
WellCat Health Center is open by appointment only (no walk-ins).
Students are able to book appointments by calling the WellCat Health Center at 530-898-5241, or by web booking an appointment through the patient portal.
Web Booking is available through our Patient Portal for the following symptoms:
- Cough, congestion, fever, body aches, sore throat
- Ear or eye issue/pain
- Rash/Skin issues
- Family Pact Enrollment
- Accessing Pharmacy ServicesThe WellCat Health Center Pharmacy is open for prescription and over-the-counter medication pick up, Monday through Friday during clinic hours. No appointment is necessary.
If you are in need of a refill for an existing prescription, please request a prescription refill from the Pharmacy through Messages via the Patient Portal. If you are not currently in the area, your prescription can be transferred to an outside pharmacy.

- What to Expect When You Arrive
- Bring your student ID and face covering to your appointment. Face coverings are required for the duration of your visit to the WellCat Health Center.
- Be prepared to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment if you are being seen in person.
- Parking is available in the WCHC Patient Parking spaces; parking permits are required for patients using clinic services. Please let us know at the time of your visit if you need a permit.
- You will be met at the door and asked to confirm you are here for an appointment. You will be asked to don your face covering prior to entering the building. If you do not have one, one will be made available to you.
- Once you are brought in to the building, you will be directed to sanitize your hands and will be escorted to a window to check in.
- Once you have checked in, you will be directed where to go next.
- Please note: at this time, the WellCat Health Center is limiting visitors to the health center to patients with an appointment only. Anyone who arrives with you for your appointment will be asked to wait outside the clinic until your appointment is done.
- COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing
- At this time, the WCHC is not able to administer the COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

- The WCHC offers COVID-19 testing for currently enrolled students who may be experiencing symptoms. Please call our clinic at 530-898-5241 for further information.
- Please call the COVID-19 Hotline at 530-898-2222 if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have had close contact with someone who testing positive for COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19.

Tips for a Successful Visit
Arrive Early - You must arrive 15 minutes prior to an appointment. Arriving late will result in cancellation.
Bring Your ID - make sure you have a legible student ID with you.
Avoid $25 No-Show Fee - if you can’t make it, please call to cancel to avoid the no-show fee.
