What are you studying?

I am majoring in Humanities and Art History with a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies

What’s it like to be a student at Chico State?

Being a student at Chico State is like being part of a very large family that supports everything you do.

Can you tell me a bit more about any other organizations or programs you're involved in on campus? 

I am the Vice President of the Art History Collective which is a club for Art History majors along with other majors get together and talk about art. We also curate a show every semester in collaboration with studio art students. 

How do you like living in Chico?

I really enjoy living in Chico, I really enjoy the small town environment along with the amazing art community. My mom grew up here and is a Chico State Alumni so I feel a special connection with the town and the university.

What would be your most important advice for incoming freshman?

Even though things may be scary and stressful at first, and you may feel like stopping, don’t, just keep pushing forward because the friends you make and the experiences you have outweigh those hard times.

What do you plan on doing when you graduate from Chico State?

After Chico State I plan on pursuing a career locally, however, with what is going on right now in Butte County, my future plans are uncertain.
