 Ukiah, CA

2. When are you expecting to graduate?

3. What are your majors?

 Pre- Nursing & Spanish

4. What’s it like to be a student at Chico State?

I love being a student and having so many opportunities to work with various groups of people. I have a love for the community here, everyone is welcoming and always willing to offer a hand when it is needed.

5. Can you tell me a bit more about any other organizations or programs you're involved in on campus?

I currently serve as the Secretary for Phi Sigma Iota, an honorary foreign language society, where we celebrate diversity as well as languages. I have also been a volunteer with CAVE for almost a year now. I am apart of CAVE’s Adopted Grandparent program where we are assigned a senior who is in a dedicated living center and then are given the task of developing a meaningful relationship with them.

6. How do you like living in Chico?

I love living in Chico and living with my friends that I have made over the past few years. There is never a dull moment and there are always fun events to attend, my favorite part is Thursday Night Markets during the spring and summer.

7. What would be your most important advice for incoming freshman?

My most important piece of advice is ENJOY IT. Cherish eating at the dining hall and take advantage of all the events as well as classes that you have because it goes by quickly! I am already a junior and I am glad that I took advantage of so many opportunities and moments because they are some of my favorite memories.

8. What do you plan on doing when you graduate from Chico State?

After graduation I am interested in staying in Chico for at least a year or two; becoming a Traveling Nurse would be amazing. However, I am taking it one day at a time and am just trying to enjoy my time, we will see where it leads me.
