Born in Memphis TN, living in Fresno CA

When are you expecting to graduate?

This fall is my last semester.

What’s your major (and minor, if applicable)?

BFA studio arts (painting and drawing) and art education

What’s it like to be a student at Chico State?

It has been really engaging. The community and university seem to really make an effort to stay involved with each other which has been a rewarding and conducive experience.

What would be your most important advice for incoming freshman?

The advice I would give for incoming freshmen would be to go out and experience what your peers are involved in. I got to know the area a lot better while introducing the community to me and my interests. It is surprising how much the different departments are willing to support each other.

What do you plan on doing when you graduate from Chico State?

I plan to move back to Fresno to enter the field of art education in public schools and prison art programs.
