Professor Jeon: International Award

Kijeong Jeon was the recipient of the 2016 International Interior Design Association Diversity Award.

This prestigious award “recognizes and celebrates an educator who is representative of a diverse background and making a significant contribution to interior design education today.” The award citation notes that Professor Jeon encourages his students to design with social responsibility in mind and that he models this behavior through his work designing for people with autism and other developmental disabilities.
