COVID-19 Attendance and Seating Policy for College of HFA/School of the Arts Events

In accordance with state and local COVID-19 Guidelines. This policy is subject to change.

Mask Coverings

  • Face masks are required for entry into any Chico State building.
  • Masks must completely cover the nose and mouth.
  • Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable face coverings.
  • Disposable masks will be provided to patrons without an appropriate mask.
  • Masks must be worn at all times while inside the building.
  • Food or drinks are prohibited in all venues.

Attendance and Seating Guidelines for HFA/SOA Venues: Non-Ticketed Events

  • Seating capacity has been reduced in all venues for non-ticketed events.
* Humanities and Fine Arts Recital Hall reduced capacity is 100 patrons.
* Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall reduced capacity is 105 patrons.
* Harlen Adams Theatre reduced capacity is 232 patrons.
  • The first two rows in Humanities and Fine Arts Recital Hall and Harlen Adams Theatre have been blocked off for performer and patron safety.
  • Performances will not take place in the pit area of Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall for performer and patron safety.
  • Admission to all events is on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Once the reduced seating capacity limit has been met, no further admission will be permitted.
  • Social distancing is encouraged in all venues.
  • Food and drinks are prohibited in all venues.

Attendance and Seating Guidelines for HFA/SOA Venues: Ticketed Events

  • Ticketed events require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test for all patrons two-years of age and older.
  • All guests 2 and older are required to show proof of full vaccination (at least two weeks after last dose) or a negative COVID-19 test PCR 48 hours prior to event or antigen test 24 hours prior to event. Antigen tests must be administered through a medical provider. At-Home tests or self-attestation will not be accepted.
  • Each venue will sell tickets to capacity.
  • Masks will still be required to be worn at all times.
  • Food and drinks are prohibited in all venues.
