Keilani Adams came to Chico from Thousand Oaks: a small city in sunny Southern California. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at San Diego State University (SDSU) in 2023, where she worked her way through college as a Resident Advisor (RA), Desk Attendant (DA), and Retail Management Intern at CVS.
In the pursuit of further education within the field of forensic anthropology, Keilani chose Chico State for her Master’s of Arts in Biological Anthropology. Between Fall 2023 and Fall 2026, Keilani has juggled the responsibilities of completing degree requirements while serving as a RA and DA in University Village, the President of the Pacific Islanders’ Club (PIC), a graduate student volunteer and radiological technician in the Human Identification Laboratory (HIL), and eventually as a Residence Life Coordinator for University Housing. In recognition of her work for University Housing, PIC, and the HIL, Keilani was awarded a placement in the Chico State Student Hall of Fame for 2026.
Keilani currently serves as the Residence Life Coordinator of University Village (which is, in her opinion, the best residence hall at Chico State). In her free time, Keilani enjoys reading, thrifting, baking, and going on mini adventures with friends around town. She is excited to assist new and returning students this academic year and looks forward to getting people connected with everything Chico State has to offer!
