2017-2018 Meal Plans
Students living in Lassen, Shasta, Sutter, Whitney, Esken, and Mechoopda Halls are required to select a meal plan.
- Chico Plan: 192 Meals (12 Meals/week) + $64 Flex Cash per semester
- Bidwell Plan: 176 Meals (11 Meals/week) + $128 Flex Cash per semester
- Wildcat Plan: 160 Meals (10 Meals/week) + $192 Flex Cash per semester
Those who are living in Konkow Houses and University Village (both are equipped with full kitchen facilities) are required to purchase at a minimum:
- Mini Plan: 64 Meals (4 Meals/week) + $112 Flex Cash per semester (full meal plan may be purchased for additional cost)
Flex Cash can be used at any campus eatery or convenience stores. All meals on the meal plans can only be used in the residential dining center or at Sutter Café—our late night “grab-and-go” eatery.
Semester meal plans do not roll-over to the next semester. Any unused meals will expire at the end of each semester. Additional semester meals can be purchased in 25 Meal Plan blocks, if needed, during the semester. You can order additional meal blocks by filling out the Meal Order Form and submit it to Associated Students Dining Services office.
Meal plan changes will be accepted until Friday, August 4, 2017 for fall semester, and Friday, January 5, 2018 for spring semester. You may request for meal plan change in online Resident Center.
In addition to the all-you-care-to-eat meals in Sutter Residential Dining Center, your meal plan can also be used at the Sutter Cafe—our late night "grab-and-go" style eatery at the south end of Sutter Hall. The cafe is open as a late night dining service. Flex cash can be used at the two on-campus coffee shops, two on-campus convenience stores or the food-court style eatery called the Marketplace in the BMU. After your Flex cash has been spent, Associated Students Dining Services offers a Retail Dining Dollar program (ReDD) that can be placed on a student's Wildcat card and can be used at the two on-campus coffee shops, two on-campus convenience stores or the food-court style eatery called the Marketplace in the BMU. Unlike Flex cash, ReDD does not expire but rolls forward from semester to semester. For details about ReDD, please contact Associated Students Dining Services at 530-898-5962.
In addition to ReDD, you can also purchase Wildcat dollars. Wildcat dollars can be used in locations where ReDD is accepted as well as the bookstore, the stockrooms and the labs. Parents and relatives can purchase the Wildcat dollars for you. For details on how to add Wildcat dollars, click here.
