Once you have submitted your new hire packet, please bring your acceptable forms of identification to the Employment Services drop-in office hours

If you are scheduled to start working BEFORE you return to campus, or will be working virtually outside of Chico, please send an email to Employment Services (humanresources@csuchico.edu) stating your request and include your current zip code. We can look to see if there are agencies near you who can complete the Employer section of the Form I-9 on our behalf. This would authorize you to start working once it is finalized.
Required- Please bring your original and unexpired acceptable forms of identification to complete your I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
NOTE: If you are a retired member of Public Employee Retirement System (CalPERS or PERS), please contact Employment Services at 530-898-4664 before your first day of work. CalPERS retirees cannot be rehired by another CalPERS agency until a 180 day waiting period has been served. The only exceptions to this waiting period are FERP and public safety officers. There are specific laws governing the type, timing, and amount of work that may impact your ability to work at Chico State.
Compliance training:If you are a new Chico State employee, visit Compliance Training for instructions. Work with your supervisor to schedule work time (approximately 4 hours) to complete this training within the first 30 days of work.
