Temporary COVID-19 Virtual Process for Entering and Approving Staff/Faculty Paid Administrative Leave
Staff, Management and 12-month faculty will self-report their Paid Administrative Leave through the Absence Management Self Service Report and View Absences page in PeopleSoft. Timekeepers and Managers should watch for appropriate comments on their employees CPAL/FFCRA leaves. Please refer to the Guide for Timekeepers and Managers(opens in new window).
Academic Year employees will report their Paid Administrative Leave on the Absence and Additional Time Report(opens in new window).
Employee entry of absences or "No Leave Taken" is required monthly by approximately the fifth calendar day of the month. An email reminder will be sent every month with the specific due date for that month.
Instructions
- Access via the email reminder
The email will contain a link to the employee absence entry page. When the link is clicked, you will be prompted to log in. Once successfully logged in, you will be taken to the employee entry page.
- Access via the portal
- Access via HR Administrative PeopleSoft account
If you have administrative access to PeopleSoft-HR(opens in new window), your Self Service actions show on your Main Menu. Log into PeopleSoft HR and navigate to Main Menu>Self Service>Report Time>Report and View Absences.
Defaults to "No Leave Taken" for the current month. Click Submit if this is appropriate or follow the instructions on the page.
