Latinx Equity and Success (LEQX) provides institutional leadership, coordination, strategic planning, communications, and advocacy to advance Latinx student success and strengthen Chico State's work as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI). As part of the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI), LEQX advances these priorities through institutional initiatives, cross-campus collaboration, and strategic partnerships.
Working collaboratively with campus leaders, faculty, staff, departments, programs, and community and national partners, LEQX strengthens institutional capacity, expands opportunity, and fosters an educationally affirming, culturally responsive, and welcoming campus environment. Through these partnerships, LEQX advances Latinx student success by aligning efforts across the University in support of Chico State's strategic priorities.
