Anna Tsing is professor of anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  Her recent books include The Mushroom at the End of the World: On the Possibilities of Life in Capitalist Ruins (Princeton University Press) and Arts of Living on a Damaged Planet (University of Minnesota Press).
