NSSE 2018 Update: Take the survey and you can win an iPad mini

Our National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) survey administration has been "live" since Feb 14th and is going well. As of Tue, March 6, we have 1393 NSSE survey responses (507 frosh and 886 seniors). In comparison, our Spring 2016 NSSE administration closed with 378 frosh and 854 seniors. Our current overall response rate is at 14.2% compared to 12.9% in Spring 2016.

Eligible frosh and seniors will see an assigned link to the survey when they login to Blackboard Learn and they will have received e-mail reminders nssesurvey.org that will contain that same link.  A final reminder will be sent Wed, March 14, and the survey closes April 1st.

Every student who completes the NSSE survey will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win an iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi Gold, 64GB ($350 value) tablet courtesy of Follett/Chico State Wildcat Store. 9700 students are eligible to complete this survey. Last Spring 2016, when we last administered the NSSE, 1508 of our 9434 students (28%) completed the survey. This means students will have approximately 1:2700 odds of winning.
