National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) opens Wednesday, Feb 14

Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, through Friday, Mar. 30, 2018

Chico State will be administering the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) to freshmen and seniors this Spring 2018 semester. NSSE results help us understand how students are spending time in and out of the classroom, which guides decisions that will benefit CSU, Chico students.

The survey will launch on Wednesday, February 14. Eligible students will see an assigned link to the survey when they login to Blackboard Learn and they will receive an e-mail invitation to take the NSSE from Indiana.edu that will contain that same link.  Four e-mail reminders will be sent via e-mail from Indiana.edu through March 14 to those who have not taken the survey. The survey closes March 31st.

Every student who completes the NSSE survey will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win an iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi Gold, 64GB ($350 value) tablet courtesy of Follett/Chico State Wildcat Store. 9700 students are eligible to complete this survey. Last Spring 2016, when we last administered the NSSE, 1508 of our 9434 students (28%) completed the survey. This means students will have approximately 1:2700 odds of winning.
