Change of Address

When international students change their local Chico address, they must inform both University Records department and the International Student Advisors. University Records can be updated through your Portal. International Student Advising should be notified in person or by email. Further, if the student’s emergency contact person changes address or phone number, both the University Records department and the International Student Advisors must be informed.

The International Student Advisors will inform the Unites States Customs and Immigration Service of the change of address by updating the SEVIS database. To maintain student status, this update must be made within 10 days of the student changing address.
