Teaching and Scholarship

Dr. Mache joined the CSU, Chico Department of Kinesiology faculty in the fall of 2010. Her teaching assignment has included teaching KINE 322: Biomechanics, KINE 524: Biomechanical Analysis, and KINE 624: Biomechanical Analysis. Dr. Mache is an applied biomechanist whose research interests focus on enhancing the safety and skill of human movement. In addition, she is interested in developing means of improving student learning in biomechanics. Dr. Mache has published work in Clinical Biomechanics, the Proceedings of the International Society of Biomechanics and Sports, and Sports Biomechanics. Dr. Mache has also shared her scholarly work at the annual meetings of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Society of Biomechanics, International Society of Biomechanics in Sports, and Western Society for the Physical Education of College Women. Dr. Mache currently serves as a member at large on the board of the Western Society for the Physical Education of College.
