The Autism Clinic Team

Josie Blagrave, Autism Clinic Supervisor and Kinesiology APE Program Coordinator

Josie BlagraveJosie earned her Master's Degree in Adapted Physical Activity from CSU, Chico. She has been working with children with autism for over 10 years. She started a grant funded program for teens with autism focusing on fitness and nutrition.

Josie is the Coordinator of the Chico State Autism Clinic.


Carli Ross

Carli RossCarli received her Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education teaching credential from CSU, Chico. She taught at the high school level for five years before returning to Chico State to get her Master's Degree in Kinesiology and work in the Autism Clinic. Carli continues to work closely with the local high school and college students introducing them to special education programs, community resources and helping them get involved as volunteers with the Special Olympics, Yellow Door and the Chico State Autism Clinic.

Carli enjoys playing sand volleyball, traveling and spending time in the water on her SUP board.

Laynie Case

Laynie CaseLaynie is very excited to have recently joined the Autism Clinic team as an autism motor specialist. Laynie is originally from San Diego, CA and received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After college, she spent two years at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR, earning her Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Movement Studies in Disability. While at OSU, she gained extensive experience with video supports and motor skill assessments among children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorders through her Master's thesis study.

Laynie's favorite sports are gymnastics and soccer, and her favorite food is pizza.
