Who Participates in LSAMP?

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation targets students who are excited by the prospect of contributing to the fields of science, engineering, or mathematics. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at California State University, Chico. We focus on individuals who face or have faced social, educational, or economic barriers.

Students in the LSAMP program meet peers, faculty, and industry representatives with similar interests. They will explore a variety of careers in science, engineering, and mathematics, and improve their problem-solving abilities. We are funded by the National Science Foundation and the California State University system to create pathways to success for our participants.
