Hands-on experience is an ideal way to improve your future career prospects and open the door to graduate school. The LSAMP Student Research Scholars Programwill provide funding to students to conduct research with a Chico State faculty member. Awards will be based on a completed application submitted by the student and faculty member to the LSAMP Director.
Incoming freshmen and continuing students are housed on campus for a three-week intensive math preparation program to prepare for upcoming math courses in the fall semester and receive a $1,000 stipend and a graphing calculator. More information can be found on our Calculus Boot Camp page.

Students may apply to be reimbursed for travel associated with traveling to STEM professional conferences to present their research or to network with professionals or employers in their field.
Eligible students can apply to receive financial assistance to purchase required STEM textbooks. Participants will be required to submit a receipt and a copy of the syllabus stating the textbook requirement. Enrollment will be verified.
