Your Future in Media Production
The Media Arts, Design, and Technology Department offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts with an Option in Production.
If you're interested in video and audio production, post-production, management and the media of the future, consider Media Arts. You will learn about working in the media behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Student take courses in media history, writing, management and digital media production. Media Arts students work with High Definition video production and post production equipment. Students also gain experience in web design and building collaborative digital media projects. Through a strong internship program, students gain valuable skills to help build job skills. Interns have worked for a wide variety of media companies including MTV, Comcast Sportsnet, and CBS. There are also many intern opportunities with local network affiliate television stations and radio stations.
