Saundra K. Wright is a Professor of Linguistics at California State University, Chico, and the Assistant Chair of the Department of English. She also serves as the minor advisor for Linguistics and the Director of the ESL Resource Center. She has conducted studies on children’s acquisition of morphological features, as well as studies on how brain impairments affect grammatical acquisition. Her most recent research focuses on binomial name pairs, names in professional contexts, titles of address, and the biases associated with different address forms in English. She serves on the Executive Board of the American Name Society.
