Take the Proctored Assessment

ProctorU is a live online proctoring service that allows you to take your assessment from the comfort of your home.  ProctorU is available 24/7, however, you will need to schedule your proctoring session at least 72 hours in advance to avoid any on-demand scheduling fees.  Creating a ProctorU account is very simple.

Register for ProctorU

Step 1: Create a ProctorU account using your Wildcat email account and agree to the terms and conditions.

Step 2: Find a date and time that works for you. Schedule at least 72 hours in advance to avoid late scheduling fees.

Step 3: Book and confirm!  Pay the $10 proctoring fee.

Step 4: Prepare for and take your proctored assessment.

Step 5: Review your assessment results and major-related course(s) advised for fall.

What to Expect From Your ProctorU Experience?

Proctored Assessment FAQs
  • Completion of at least three hours of learning modules is required before a proctored assessment.
  • You must wait at least 48 hours before re-assessing. Use that time to review ALEKS modules.
  • You can take up to four proctored assessments. After attempting a second assessment speak with the assessment advisor before your third attempt.  Pamela Morrell 
  • Chrome is the recommended browser for ALEKS.
  • Free technical support provided by ProctorU. Test your equipment and ask questions about the proctoring process before you begin.
  • Equipment needed: high-speed internet connection, webcam, Windows or Apple OS, government-issued ID.
  • If you need accessibility or testing accommodations,  go to Accessibility Resource Center.  Arrangements must be made at least two weeks in advance of taking the ALEKS Assessment.
