If you are not an International Student, STOP, do not use this link.  Contact the Math Dept. (530) 898-6111.

ALEKS PPL Assessment is web-based and FREE to use for one year once you sign up.

ALEKS consists of three parts:

  1. An Initial Knowledge Assessment
  2. The Prep and Learning Module, an individualized, self-paced online review (3 hours study required).
  3. A Proctored Assessment online with ProctorU ($10).

If you need accessibility or testing accommodations, STOP.  Go to Accessibility Resource Center.  Arrangements must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of taking the ALEKS Assessment

Advisor Tip: Take the unproctored Initial Knowledge Assessment seriously!  Give yourself 2 hours to complete it and don't use any outside resources.  Just do the best you can on your own. ALEKS is adaptive and will adjust to your level of mastery. This will determine the content of your Prep and Learning Module for study prior to the proctored exam.
