Public Relations Intern for Geography & Planning
Saul is a senior, double majoring in plant & soil science with the option in crops & horticulture and multicultural & gender studies - general option. He is also minoring in intersectional chicanx & latinx studies and public relations.
Before being a student assistant for the multicultural and gender studies department, he was a public relations intern. Saul is also the current public relations intern for the geography and planning department. 
Saul's studies focus on integrated pest management, human values in agriculture, and agricultural communications. His goals after graduating include becoming a plant protection and pest management specialist, continuing research in human values and social issues in agriculture, and actively contributing to agricultural literacy to diverse communities through various public relations platforms. 
Saul has been actively involved on campus, being a part of many student organizations, programs, and departments. He was an active member of Mecha de Chico State, Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity Inc., Crop Science & Horticulture Club, Latinx Graduation Celebration Committee, has worked previously worked for University Housing, and has worked as a student research assistant through Chico State Enterprises. 
In his free time, Saul likes to explore all the different parts of Bidwell Park, read comics, and listen to music. He also has a pet rabbit named Patch!
