Apply now for our new Louis Goldblatt Award for Social Change
Tuesday, Apr. 9, 2019, 10 a.m.–noon
Eligibility: MCGS Major or Minor at any point in their undergraduate career at Chico State. An advocate for the LGBTQIA community both off and on campus, working to effect social change and social justice. No GPA minimum is required, although the student must be in good academic standing. Financial need may be considered.
$1500 award for a LGBTQIA advocate
How to apply: Students apply with a personal statement (academic/personal/professional goals; LGBTQIA advocacy on and off campus; personal barriers you have had to overcome to achieve your education; special considerations/circumstances that you would like the committee to be aware of) and at least one letter of recommendation from a MCGS faculty (focusing on your social justice/social change work).
