Juke Joint Party hosted in celebration of Black History Month

On February 4th, 2019 as a part of the Black History Month celebratory events, a Juke Joint Party was hosted in Selvester's Cafe. Professor of African American Studies, MCGS, and history, Vernon Andrews was asked by the Black Faculty and Staff Association and JustUs Unity Sisters to Introduce the event as part of the months festivities. The event was a huge success where roughly 50 students and numerous faculty and staff got together to eat, listed to music, play various games, and establish community. This exciting event was just one of the many events put on in February to Celebrate Black History Month.
