Program Improvement Process

To be granted a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, one must demonstrate achievement of the Mechanical Engineering Program Outcomes with at least basic competency. Program Educational Objectives are expected accomplishments of our graduates within the first few years of professional practice.

The Mechanical Engineering Program Improvement Plan (PDF) is the primary repository of the Program Educational Objectives and Program Outcomes, as well as the Program Mission and Vision Statements. It outlines the process used by the faculty for continuous assessment and improvement of the Mechanical Engineering Program including the process for achieving the Program Outcomes, the procedures for assessing achievement of those Outcomes, and methods for maintaining and improving all the aforementioned.

Mechanical Engineering Annual Program Improvement Reports summarize the assessment results and resulting actions since the last report.
