Keyboard Pedagogy Certificate
The Certificate in Piano Pedagogy program is designed for the piano majors who wish to specialize in group or private piano teaching. The program can be completed in four semesters of residency. This program is for students who wish to take the program in conjunction with the Bachelor of Arts or Master of Arts in music. Courses common to both the piano performance degree and the certificate program may count for both programs. Students receive both theoretical and practical training in piano teaching through observation and teaching in both group and private settings.
Entrance Requirements
Applicants must be admitted to the private piano instruction before they can be officially admitted into the Certificate in Piano Pedagogy program.
